The church in Cyprus is closely involved in matters of state. We met one of the priests in Lythrodontas and attended one of the Easter Services where the Archbishop made a speech about the current economic crisis.

Anastasia talked about the good relationships between the mayor of Lythrodontas and the young people of the village: they can communicate directly with the mayor via his facebook page. They also have a council of young people who organise events.
In France we took the train, in Cyprus we took the bus, what will we be doing in England? Well we walked across the park and took the bus and the train.

We interviewed the mayor of Paphos: he was very proud of the fact that Paphos had succeeded in it's candidature for European Culture Capital in 2017 with their project "Open Air Culture Factory". We hope to return to Paphos in 2017.
